Causality relationship between the photovoltaic market and its manufacturing in China, Germany, the US

Molin HUO, Xiliang ZHANG, Jiankun HE

Frontiers in Energy 2011, Volume 5, Issue 1,   Pages 43-48 doi: 10.1007/s11708-010-0135-5

Abstract: This paper aims to investigate the Granger causality relationships between the photovoltaic (PV) marketThe empirical results show that the growth of the market scale caused the increase in innovation scaleOnly in China did the growth of the market scale cause the increase in production scale, implying significantmarket risk for the manufacturing sector. The empirical result shows that the manufacturing sector can affect the dynamics of the market scale.

Research on China Railway’s “Go Global” Strategy

Sun Yongfu,He Huawu,Zheng Jian,Lin Zhonghong,Yang Ying and Tian Yaming

Strategic Study of CAE 2017, Volume 19, Issue 5,   Pages 1-8 doi: 10.15302/J-SSCAE-2017.05.001

Abstract:

This paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges associated with China Railway's "Go Global" strategy, and proposes the guiding ideology, basic principles, and strategic targets corresponding to it. Based on the different characteristics of neighboring countries, the countries along the "Belt and Road", the countries in Africa and Latin America, and the countries in Europe and the United States, as well as cooperation in different equipment manufacturing, the overall outline of China Railway's "Go Global" strategy is revealed. Five strategies—consulting in advance, cooperation alliance, technological innovation, local operation, and building the China Railway brand—are proposed. Finally, some policy measures and suggestions, such as top-level design, overseas consulting, financial support, risk prevention and control, international influence, and talent development are recommended.
